Washing the Washing Machine October 20, 2008

I bought some washing tablets from the 100yen shop yesterday. It is meant to wash your washing machine.I overheard the staff telling this aunty, “Very good one….can wash your washing machine veryyy clean one..”

Why do we still need to wash the washing machine when it’s washing other clothes with detergent everyday? But I was such a sucker la. So I bought it.

All the words were in Japanese but it looked like some powderful detergent. There were 5 tiny tablets inside, but since my washing machine’s max is 7kg, I had to use 4 tablets. So excited to drop it into my washing machine just now. But as soon as the tablets melted, the water smelled exactly like swimming pool! I felt soo cheated leh! It’s just chlorine!! It only costs RM4.90 per packet, but still…..I could have bought an entire bottle of Clorox and use it for 10 years. Gosh this post makes me sound like an aunty. But yea…. such a waste of money and enthusiasm. Lesson no 1: Don’t be a busybody and evesdrop on makcik-makcik conversations.

I could have even saved it and just get some chlorine from the maintenance guy who washes the pool everyday.

“Bang, minta sikit klorin.”

“Untuk apa?”

“Nak racun mak mertua..”

lol…

Just kidding. Everyone knows I’m still single…but I think I just killed my chances of ever getting a husband by 50% or more. Damn chlorine!
