ha ha haa.. nice one natasha.

reminds me when i was working as a dive instructor in thailand years back, and just finished teaching an open water class. so as tradition, all my students and i go out (with their partners, too) and we have a few drinks, get to know each other after i’ve bullied them for a week to be GOOD divers.. hee hee.

there was this really nice Danish girl who was dating this really obnoxious Norwegian guy who was a copyright lawyer (!), and you can guess the topic: pirate DVDs.

so anyway i tried to just be nice for a few hours (to not make it unpleasant for the rest) but it got really bad after he got a bit drunk, and he started shouting and blasting “us Asians” for not respecting intellectual property rights.

dunno right or wrong, but i just said, “dood, at the end of the day, you DO realise that you’re a copyright lawyer, losing his temper at a dive bum on a beach in Thailand, don’t you?”

and he shut up. it was a pretty pleasant night after he left a few minutes after that. my point? no point actually. just wanted to share.

keep writing! bloody plainclothes people..
